Who Can Vote for This Moron?

Here is Rick Santorum on the pedophile priest scandal when the Boston piece of it first came to light:

“It is startling that those in the media and academia appear most disturbed by this aberrant behavior, since they have zealously promoted moral relativism by sanctioning ‘private’ moral matters such as alternative lifestyles. Priests, like all of us, are affected by culture. When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected. While it is no excuse for this scandal, it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm.”

Unfortunately, this storm had no center.  Over the last ten years, these sickening and disgusting scandals emerged all over this country and all over the world.

Blame the liberals?  Blame Boston?  No, blame the Catholic Church and their willingness at the highest level not just to tolerate, but to enable, these deviants, moving offenders to other parishes with no warning to the unsuspecting people who worshiped there and entrusted their innocent children to the clergy.

And blame Rick Santorum for this warped, pathetic statement and keep him as far from the Oval Office as predatory priests must be kept from potential victims.

Rick Perry’s Religion Ad Is Another “Oops”

Rick Perry has a new ad where he promises to “end Obama’s war on religion,” making some crappy, non sequitur argument about how it’s terrible that gays can serve in the military, but our kids can’t pray in school.

The Supreme Court decisions controlling school prayer are from 1962 and 1963.  President Obama was born in 1961.
