Another three people are now in custody for activities after the Boston Marathon bombings.
Two of them, Azamat Tazhayakov and Dias Kadyrbayev, both 19 and from Kazakhstan, are friends of Dzhokhar’s and fellow students at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. They are charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice and destroy evidence for throwing away Dzhokhar’s laptop and backpack with fireworks.
The third man, Robel Phillipos, also 19 and from Cambridge, is charged with lying to federal law enforcement.
