Where’s The Donald?  He was supposed to appear on Monday, and he seems to have gotten fired.  Thank you, Isaac.

I am already feeling sick just thinking about the vast quantities of chocolate I am going to need to get through this.

Thought of the Day

Why would anyone have confidence in a political party that schedules its convention in south Florida the last week of August?  Stupidity and hubris, never a good combination.

They’re taking about 70,000 people who are currently safe, all the delegates and media and donors and staff, and moving them into a miserable, dangerous environment.  Kind of a metaphor for what a Romney administration would do to the country.

Isaac Forces GOP Convention Delay

As of now, the Republican convention in Tampa will start on Tuesday, not Monday.  They say everyone scheduled to speak on Monday (such as Boehner, Huckabee, Haley) will get a slot later in the week.

The roll-call vote nominating Mitt, which they wanted to have on network-coverage-free Monday because of concerns about the Ron Paul delegates, will now be on Tuesday.
