I am still trying to figure out what information Snowden provided that is suppose to help the terrorist. Are we supposed to believe that the terrorist didn’t already know that their phone and internet was being tracked? What was exposed is that the NSA is sweeping up data on phone and email traffic from every Verizon customer (that includes me). There is no doubt that Verizon is not the only company that has received one of these blanket FISA orders. So unless they consider all Verizon customers and the American people to be terrorists then as far as I can tell they are outraged at being caught lying to us and spying on us.
I think that’s exactly it. The terrorists know, and Americans who were paying attention knew (this stuff has been reported before), but many (most?) Americans didn’t.
