So we’ll get a debate on gun reform, we’ll get votes on gun reform, we just won’t get any real gun reform.
Broader background checks? Sure, a good thing if the Manchin-Toomey deal passes. But we need to deal with the semi-automatic weapons and large ammo clips, and that ain’t gonna happen. More dead kids? That’s definitely gonna happen.

There is no reason for a law-abiding citizen to have semi-automatic weapons and big clips. There are plenty of long guns and hand guns to do all the hunting/range shooting/protection people need.
Because survivors said they ran one of the times he was re-loading. What stopped him was when he heard the police arrive, not some twitch in his brain.

Thank you for making my case. Nothing will keep us, and our children, safe from guns until we finally stop making them, selling them, owning them and glorifying them.
In a country of more than 300 million, the point is that we can’t always figure out who has an intent to kill until there are 20 dead children on the floor. So we get rid of the military-style weapons and ammo that no civilian needs.
You can’t solve it from the person side, you have solve it from the weapon side. Other countries have crazy people, they just don’t have all the murders we do because the weapons aren’t as available to their crazy people.
