We dodged Donald Trump at the GOP Convention. But they just couldn’t let it go without the unforced error of a major embarrassment. I don’t think Clint Eastwood’s bizarre, cringe-inducing performance made Mitt’s day. But it certainly stole some of his thunder and buzz.

Doesn’t that appearance by Eastwood epitomize every error in judgment by the GOP?
It certainly detracted from Mitt’s big night and a pretty smooth convention. It was sad and embarrassing for both Eastwood and the GOP.
