Quote of the Day

“The recently announced waiver policy was originally requested by the Republican governors of Utah and Nevada to achieve more flexibility in designing programs more likely to work in this challenging environment. The administration has taken important steps to ensure that the work requirement is retained and that waivers will be granted only if a state can demonstrate that more people will be moved into work under its new approach.”  Emphasis added.

Bill Clinton, responding to Mitt and the GOP’s specious charge that President Obama’s giving more power to the states will “gut welfare reform.”

The GOP is sure to hear more about this — none of it kind — during Clinton’s big convention speech nominating Obama.

I think Obama needs to utilize Bill Clinton almost in a recklessly flagrant manner to get the message out that Romney is a fraud and a liar and that Obama is really the ONLY intelligent choice.

Aside from his marital infidelities, Americans know that Bill Clinton ran the counrty well and created a growing economy with huge surplusses. He is as much a God to democrats as Reagan was to Republicans.

Romney is a wannabee who will not show us his tax returns showing how little if anything he paid, and a man who raided corporations, took quick profits for his investors, constantly lies, and denies he was associated with the Massachusetts health care plan.

How truly ignorant are Americans for Romney (not the one percenters as I’ve said before because they are in full league with him) in not realizing that Obama with the momentum of a second term will get us out of the hole that Bush dug us into economically, get our troops out of wars that Bush started and waged with deceipt and outright lies, and right the ship?
