The only reason we are friends with the Saudis is steeped in the hypocrisy we’ve practiced since
our technology found their oil, drilled for their oil and made us dependent upon their oil. That was simple now wasn’t it?
Without oil, there’s no Saudi wealth, education or welfare for women or any reason for us to be their friend.
We protected them from Hussein in the first gulf war, not to be their friend, but for their damn oil.
